Highlights
- New Feature: Package Expiration Policies
- You can now manage expiration of packages! This can be done when creating or editing packages in Settings > Services > Packages. Please note that when a package is sold, it will retain the policy that was in place at the time of sale, even if the policy for that package type is later edited.
- New Feature: Package Management Screen
- In Shortcuts > Billing and Sales > Packages, you will find a new screen to help you keep track of all the packages you have sold, including their usage status, bank balances, and expiration dates.
- New Feature: “Mark as Spam” for Faxes
- You can now mark incoming faxes as spam to help you clear out your Fax inbox. You’ll find the “mark as spam” button next to individual incoming faxes.
- Right-side Charting panel addition: Labs!
- You can now view the active patient’s lab order/result history on the same screen as the chart note, by clicking the Labs & Screenings icon on the right-side panel. More features will be continue to be added to this panel - if you haven’t clicked those icons on the right side of the charting screen, go check it out!
- Appointment Setting Dialog Upgrade
- The appointment setting dialog has been improved by adding the “patient summary” module, allowing the Sticky Note, patient tags, and patient balance to easily be viewed while setting/editing an appointment.
Improvements
- Increased the size of the signature box on consent forms.
- Improved Patient Search box to order alphabetically by first name and then last name, instead of only by first name.
- Prescription start date, when imported from MDToolbox, will no longer use today’s date but will instead correctly import the prescription’s start date.
- Superbills created by recurring payments, if using a service template, will now include line items for all of the component services instead of just the template name.
- Prescription start date is now a user-editable field for all types except “Rx-eRx”.
- Imported prescriptions will be appropriately marked as “Rx-eRx”.
- Improved the payment processor selection dropdown logic. The net result should be fewer clicks to select the correct payment processor for clinics using multiple processors/accounts.
- Added multiple race selection to patient demographics.
- Added support for Central European/Central African Timezones.
- Various improvements to Messages interface.
- Added Cherry and Affirm as suggestions to the “3rd party deposit” section of Superbills.
- Patient Profile images can now be cleared.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue in which a patient’s smoking history would not be displayed on the dashboard or chart note.
- Fixed an issue that could cause superbills to be created when a patient is booking online, even if the card was declined.
- PDFs of signed consent forms will now reflect the text at the time of signing, rather than the current text, in cases where the forms have been updated.
- Fixed an issue with online booking where new/followup status would not be appropriately assigned to the newly created appointment, causing issues with the patient portal displaying the correct forms.
- Fixed charting tags not being saved when “lock and sign” button is used.
- Fixed two issues that would lead to an incorrect fax utilization report.
- Fixed an issue that prevented selecting a prior date as the “count down” date when using a package.
- Fixed an issue that prevented non-practitioners (e.g. admin staff) from sending lab results via email.
- Fixed some display errors caused by special characters in the template libraries.
- Fixes for some visual glitches on older browser versions.
- Fixed the “created by” field for Packages updating to be identical to the “updated by” field.
- Fixed an issue that could cause Practitioner Name or Patient Name to sometimes not appear in appointment audit logs.
- Fixed gift card emails not going to the recipient (only the purchaser) if specified.
- Fixed a few areas where “Female” would be displayed despite a different setting being selected for a patient.
- Fixed several issues where using “import all” from a previous chart would not pull in the appropriate information.
- Fixed an “exception occurred in code” error that could sometimes pop up when adding a note to a gift card.
- Fixed an issue that caused only the initial PDF of lab results to be displayed.
- Fixed a mobile issue that could cause the “race” field in demographics to get out of sync with the web display.
- Fixed an issue where lab requests for custom labs would not have the name of the lab printed on the form.
