Charting access can be tailored to support privacy needs and ensure users only see the records relevant to their role.
User Level Restrictions
In Settings > Business > User Management; Manage Access For User.
- Restrict users to "View Charts & Intakes" Yes or No.
- For practitioners you can set to see only their own charts or all charts and superbills for patient
Chart Level Restrictions
Practitioners can make individual notes viewable only to the note's author. Use this to protect notes that need to be restricted based on type or when staff are also patients.
Practitioners can identify their restricted charts in the charting history through the shield icon
To revoke the restriction you can do so while editing the chart note or by selecting the blue action dots on the charting history to return normal view access for other users.
