To create a standing order in OptiMantra, you will want to use the Tasks feature. See also this article related to creating tasks: Create Tasks for Intra-Office and Patient Communications.
To create a standing order:
- Open the tasks feature
- Click Create New Task
- Select the associated patient
- Fill in the task with needed information and select the "Order Type" appropriate.
- If an Order Type task is due in the next 7 days it will appear on the patient dashboard.
- Add in the notes the instructions, limitations, and needed information for the staff.
- When the order is completed, the staff should save the notes in the task and replace the due date for the next expected interaction.
